Safe Horizon

Safe Horizon

Kids mean the world to us. As we grow as a company, we are thrilled to be able to give a 5% of the retail price of all products sold on Mod Mom Furniture.com to an amazing organization called Safe Horizon who makes it their mission to help children and families affected by crime and abuse.

Safe Horizon is the nation's largest victims services agency. We provide hotlines, shelters, community programs, court and precinct programs, drop-in centers, children's centers, and many more services to help children and families affected by crime and abuse. Our programs and services focus on individuals affected by domestic violence, child abuse, rape and sexual assault, crime, human trafficking, and stalking, as well as homeless youth and families of homicide victims.

Mission: Safe Horizon’s mission is to provide support, prevent violence, and promote justice for victims of crime and abuse, their families and communities. For over a quarter of a century Safe Horizon has been at the forefront of helping victims of crime and abuse through their crises. We are woven into the fabric of New York City, and we are here where and when you need us – in the courts, in your community and at the other end of a telephone at any hour of the day or night.

We are recognized leaders responding to the changing needs of our clients, and we are sought out as experts on issues of violence and victimization for programs across the country and around the world. One by one, our dedicated staff help over 250,000 victims each year find hope by offering a chance to tell their story in their own words, a guide through the criminal justice system, a safe place to sleep.

Company Overview: Founded in 1978, Safe Horizon provides support and services for child and adult victims of crime and abuse. Our issues cover domestic violence, child abuse, rape and sexual assault, families of homicide victims, stalking, human trafficking, trauma counseling, school violence, and homeless youth.
